Get Involved with Your Milton Rooms

Volunteers are the lifeblood of what we do.

Broadly speaking, there are five main areas of focus:

  • Office administration and ticket sales
  • Event management (Front of House/bar)
  • Tech support (Sound and light)
  • Marketing and Promotion (eg newsletter/design, print and distribution/website and social media content)
  • Venue (Maintenance/DIY)

Why Volunteer?

“When we moved to Malton just over two years ago, The Milton Rooms was a great way of finding new friends and filling our time, after retiring. This has included everything from painting, varnishing floors and maintaining the building during lockdown, to working behind the bar at events and now working with a really good team on the new website, social media and promotion.
