Nicola Mills has turned opera on its head in this funny and inspiring show. She combines her down-to- earth Northern roots with singing ‘opera’  in this unique show. Nicola will amaze you with her voice and stories of working class life, from singing in some of Europe’s finest opera houses to then taking opera to the streets. This is the story of how Opera for the People was born.

And it’s not just opera. The audience chooses the songs from her Song Menu (Mozart to musicals, to Elvis). It’s like nothing you’ve seen before. Taking the ‘posh’ out of opera.
